Tamiya3Speed.COM COMMUNITY POLICIES

Tamiya3Speed.COM is a website and online forum community dedicated to developing and maintaining a Tamiya friendly environment, where members of all ages and backgrounds feel relaxed and comfortable. As in any community, T3S has certain standards to uphold and preserve through a set guideline of rules. When members choose to join our forums, they agree to abide by these rules. To remain a part of the T3S community, members must be considerate of others. Personal attacks and other actions deemed inappropriate will not be tolerated. Repeated violations of these guidelines set forth below may result in a member being put on a moderated status or, if the violations are extreme then access may be temporarily or permanently restricted to our forums/Community.

TOPICS OF DISCUSSION:
Although discussion forums encourage a wide range of opinions, please keep all posts focused on the topic of the forum in which the message or question is pertaining to.

* The T3S chosen language is English. All other languages are subject to removal.
* Each forum has a different topic, so what is appropriate in one forum or thread may not be appropriate in another. Please keep topics and questions in the related forum.
* T3S is focused on Tamiya R/C. Therefore, all topics must remain R/C related accordingly.
" We do not permit political, social, religious, or other off-topic discussions. There are many places online to express your opinions on such issues.

* The owners of Tamiya3Speed.com reserve the right to remove, edit, move or close any thread for any reason.

INAPPROPRIATE LANGUAGE:
The use of inappropriate, offensive language or language substitutions is not permitted on T3S. Inappropriate or offensive language includes, but is not limited to, any language or content that is sexually oriented, sexually suggestive or abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, profane, hateful, or that contains racially, ethnically or otherwise objectionable material of any kind. Attempts to bypass the forum language filter will result in post(s) moderated and possibly deleted. We ask that you please be considerate to other members in the forums when posting messages. T3S is a place that is friendly to members of all ages and safe for children. We will not allow linking, mention or reference to any website or organization that contains any of the aforementioned objectionable content. Any posts or links made to websites containing such will be removed and a warning given.


HARASSMENT & FLAMING:
T3S members are not permitted to harass or "flame" other members. Flaming is but not limited to the direct intent to belittle, taunt, harm, offend, anger, or disrespect another member(s) through words in forum threads or Private Messages (PM's). Please do not post or transmit any unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, profane, hateful, racially, ethnically or otherwise objectionable material of any kind, including, but not limited to, any material which encourages conduct that would constitute a criminal offense, violate the rights of others, or otherwise violate any applicable local, state, national or international law. Please note that this also includes the posting of taunts on a forum solely for the purpose of demeaning that forum's topic and/or members. Personal attacks or inappropriate behavior directed to or between members/moderators will not be tolerated. Temporary or permanent ban(s) from the T3S online community may result from such infractions. A temporary ban may consist of limited access or no access to the forums for a probationary period. A permanent ban may consist of the deletion of the username or block of the individual IP address completely. The board of moderators will vote on the matters regarding permanent bans on a case-to-case basis given the infraction(s).


COPYRIGHTED OR TRADEMARKED MATERIAL:
It is illegal to post any content that is copyrighted or trademarked, unless you hold the copyright or trademark. Any material protected by copyright may not be posted in the message boards without the expressed permission of the author or owner of the copyright on that material. This includes reproducing the full text of news stories, articles, etc. It is acceptable to provide a link to copyrighted material, to post brief excerpts, or to paraphrase other works, though we do strongly encourage you to cite the original source whenever possible.


PIRACY OR UNLAWFUL ACTIVITIES:
This community forum is a place for ideas and constructive participation, and not a place to violate any laws or to discuss illegal activities. This type of activity includes, but is not limited to, advocating or asking for information regarding software piracy or unauthorized emulators of software or hardware, sharing or distributing viruses, licenses, registration information, software keys, "cracks," or other information designed to do harm to or allow unlawful access to any computer hardware, software, networks, or any other systems. Please refrain from posting these kind of messages.


POSTING ADVERTISEMENTS:
This is a forum of ideas and discussions. We do not wish to have the readers of the forums overwhelmed with advertisements. However we realize that posting announcements or interesting new product information can be quite desirable by our members. To balance the need for information and the need to prevent spamming of ads in our forums, we will allow the following to be posted:

* Companies are allowed one new thread per week to post any new R/C related product announcements, specials, promotions, news and/or stock status. Graphical ads in the thread are NOT allowed.
* Companies may reply to existing threads that may include whatever information is requested, except for graphical ads.
* Companies may not repeat the same or substantially similar announcement a second time. If the original posting was in error, please contact the Moderators or Website Administrator for assistance.
* Shilling for a company will result in immediate membership revocation. A shill is defined by but not limited to the act of promoting products for vendors, products or the like, and the act of hiding behind anonymity to abuse normal membership policies and etiquette.

Companies may answer within ongoing threads, whether providing direct answers to questions about their products & support or adding pertinent product information such as specs, photos or videos. Companies will refrain from posting in threads of their competitors where the subject contains another companies name or product in it. ANY and ALL company employees (Tamiya, R/C Industry, or Other) posting on T3S forums must identify themselves as such within the signature or avatar. This is covered under the "Username & Disclosure" agreement also.


USERNAMES & DISCLOSURE:
Only one username or account is necessary at T3S, all others will be removed. If you create a second username to act as a shill or in attempt to bypass a management ban, you will be at risk of permanent removal from T3S. A shill is defined by but not limited to the act of promoting products for vendors, products or the like, and the act of hiding behind anonymity to abuse normal membership policies and etiquette.

If you are a manufacturer, vendor, sponsored representative, retailer or the like for an R/C related company or product, you must specifically identify yourself and the particular affiliation in your signature. Any member affiliated with a company not identifying themselves as such is at risk of revocation from T3S. This is identified, but not limited to a member who gains anything financially whether in cash, product, discount or the like.

Web addresses may NOT be used as usernames.


SPAMMING:
Spamming, in which a user posts the same message repeatedly in one or multiple forums, is prohibited. Spamming will also be defined as posting advertisements in the general discussion forums. Any form of behavior that is detected or reported as an abuse of forum rules will result in infractions and ban(s) issued.


POSTING IMAGES:
Forum members are allowed to embed images in their messages by linking to an image that exists on another site or uploading it from their computer's hard drive. In addition to the copyright restrictions mentioned above, users should also refrain from embedding any images of a sexual or offensive nature. Any links to clearly offensive or pornographic materials will be removed immediately at the moderator's discretion and may result in a warning or infraction.


POSTING LINKS:
T3S has a simple policy regarding linking to other websites. Members may link to any other site that provides information that helps to answer another member's question or is of specific interest to members of that particular forum. The T3S forum managers wholeheartedly support this type of information exchange across the Internet. Members may NOT link to sites that require registration or membership to view the content, including offsite chat room discussions.

The only other type of linking (besides porn and spam as mentioned previously above in our rules, of course) that will NOT be allowed on our site is when members solicit people to leave our site to a competing service. However, people are always welcome to link to any non-competing online resource in order to share useful information with fellow members.


SIGNATURES :: AVATARS :: USER TITLES
Avatars, signatures and user titles appear to the public in every post you make. No political, social, religious, or other similar off topic images or wording will be allowed. You may not provide any information to a commercial website. The signature image size is limited to 400x150 pixels (90.0 kb) and the avatar image size is limited to 80x80 pixels or 19.5 kb, which ever is smaller.

Personal and R/C club links in the signature are acceptable as long as the website is not commercial or in any form of competition with T3S.

Any signature or avatar offensive or pornographic in materials will be removed immediately at management's discretion and a warning or infraction may be issued.


BANNING:
T3S reserves the right at its sole discretion to restrict, suspend, or terminate your access to any part of these forums. If you violate any of the rules stated in this document or any other service terms documents, a moderator will remove the offending message. It is your responsibility to maintain a current, valid email address in the registration information so that T3S management can contact you in the event of a policy violation. Any members that violate forum policies as defined in the user agreement, will at the administrator's discretion be denied access to these forums for a period of 1 to 30 days depending on the nature of the violation. Any members that refuse to comply with the policies of these forums will be banned permanently.


MANAGING USER CONTENT:
Members of T3S are solely responsible for all content posted under their account. It is each member's obligation and responsibility to log off at the end of their session to prevent unauthorized use of T3S and account access. T3S shall have the right, but not the obligation, to correct any errors or omissions in any content, as it may determine in its sole discretion. T3S further reserves the right to delete or remove any user content from the site and to deny the access of any member to all or part of this site, at any time for any reason without prior notice or liability. There should be no sharing of username(s) at any given time to avoid conflicts or confusions in threads and postings. Members found in violation of this will be issued an infraction or banned temporarily or permanently.


PRIVATE MESSAGING:
ALL topics dictated in T3S forum etiquette rules apply to private messaging. All rules that are broken via private messaging will be dealt with in the same fashion as if they were posted on the forum itself. Please report any abuse regarding the use of private messages between members.
