European Racing Trucks?

Has any one thought of turning one of the Merc's or Scania's into a racing truck? Check out this link, I think It would be pretty cool to make a RC racing league out of the European trucks. If I was a better fabricator I would tackle the project my self. Mechanically I have a few ideas to help the trucks handle better, but as far as fabricating the body, not so much. Maybe joint effort? I have noticed that you can pick up the Merc on ebay for less then 200bucks now, maybe it would be a good starting point. check out the link there are some cool photos of the various trucks racing.

I have been ogling at these for some time now. Very cool. I have a few nitro trucks to go with my electrics, but this would be nice! The are not very scale though, it's pretty much the same chassis for their touring cars, just with a truck body. So they are very cool, but not scale.
