Hi guys,
Well Joe beat me to it, I started mine more or less the same time, and we seemed to be at the same stage of construction for the first couple of days.
I decided to take a bit more time and paint as i went, this will match the Volvo FH12 tractor truck i will be doing after i've completed the trailer.
I wont go into detail as Joe has already done that, i can however echo Joe's comments on what a superb trailer this is, a lot of kit for not a lot of money in comparison to other trailers on the market.
I've left the chassis black, fitted the trailer electronic legs, a first for me, the spare wheel carrier is alluminum colour, tool box and mudguards are metalic bronze as are the wheel trims.
The only thing i would say is that it is a shame that Tamiya did not supply the spare wheels for the carrier, otherwise an excellent kit.
Well done Tamiya, and well done Joe for your build thread.

Nice one!
Looks even more good with the paintjob!

One question:
Is it poseble to use the trailerwheels with hex at the rear on a Truck, or do the wheelbase come out wrong?
Really want single wheels at the rear on my Peterbilt 359 u see :first:

that maybe a question for the more experienced builder, may i suggest you ask Joe on his thread of the same trailer.
I have measured the wheelbase of the trailer from the outside edge of the tyre it comes out at 80mm, hope this helps.

I have been trying to ask Joe about this, with no luck.
Can you try them on the rear of your rig, and make a WB mesurement?
Since the truck aksle is a bit smaller then the aksle on the trailer i think.

you can put the singles on the front axle, but not the rears.different with.but if go to a 3rd lift axle for the rear you need the axle from this trailer
