First of all I like to thank you guys for all the help and opinions you had giving me on this last few weeks.
I received my first truck this weekend and I started as soon as I open the box.
I'm done puting the chasis, suspencion, transmition/motor and semi locking devise.
This is when the intructions stoped helping me and I started to guess.
Can anyone please show me some pictures of how you run the wires, like where did you clamp them to, which hole
are they runing through etc. I have a Knight Hauler/ Tank convination, with MFU

Why not have a look in my thread (http://www.tamiya3speed.com/forum/showthread.php?t=420) about my Knight Hauler with MFU? There are some pictures that show how I did the wiring.

Use heat black shrink tubing to minimize the number of loose cables and do not hold back on the zip ties and you should be all set. I took a long, big, black heat shrink tube that was long enoung to go all the way from the MFU to the reverse lights. I then made a hole for the switch (green/black) that goes in the fifth wheel and put that cable in th eheat shrink tube. I then braded the rest of the rearward cables into one giant brade that I put into the black heat shrink tube, which I later shrunk using heat. I did the same for the lights in the front and simply let them run along the chassi rails/cab floor. Since the heat shrink tubing is the same colour as most parts they do not stick out when you look at the truck. The roof lights were simply tied together with zip ties.

Hope this helps!

Thanks a lot, your truck looks awesome. I will follow your tips, I also going to try to keep the interior. Did you buy the king hauler speaker box separately or is it the one that comes with the MFU?
One more question, the fith wheel stays the same with the difference of adding that little extencion arm right? the little switch and springs that makes the fith wheel stays in place?
Thanks again.

The King Hauler's speaker box is included with the MFU. IIn looked around a while and realised that I did not even have to drill new holes or anything. I reversed two of the mounting brackets for the speaker box and voilą everything was a direct fit.

And you are also right regarding the fifth wheel. I only added the arm operating the Motorized Suooprt Legs (from that kit) and its servo tray to the original fifth wheel parts from the Knight Hauler.

One has to keep in mind that the Knight Hauler was designed for use with the MFU and does thus not need the extra parts to adapt it to the MFU as is necessary with the earlier trucks that need the specific parts included with the MFU.

I just used double sided tape which was supplied with the MFU in order to get that speaker box mounted.
The tape is quite strong so it should be fine.
For the vibration unit you will need to drill two holes in order to mount it.

With the speaker box mounted and the vibration unit beside that you can mount the MFC unit on top of the
vibration unit (buffer double sided tape is also provided) and then you can use some more double sided tape
to fix the MFC unit on the back of the speaker box.

5th wheel is indeed a weird one. I don't use the motorised support legs per se. I bought it but since I have a customer trailer I won't use it (will use the servo for the 5th wheel though).

So when you have both, support legs and MFC, you might get confused about the instructions. The support legs basically tells you to remove some stuff whether the MFC actually adds stuff in order to get that little switch mounted which is used for the copler sound and increasing / decreasing the speed when coppled / de-coppled.

So basically you use the MFC setup but just change the lever and mounting plate which is used to connect it to the servo.

I didn't really hide the cable quite well, but its ok ..

Will make some pictures if you want ..
