Hi Mario my friend ! IŽm OK besides from a gallbladder operation which will take place in Januari -08. 7 years of pain and hundreds of doctors appointments will finally come to a end.
I read your topic about next 3-speed Tamiya and my vote goes to a SUPER tru to scale Landy Defender. I also would love a Dodge Power vagon. Or anything old school ,and rugged.

Hello or Tjenare !!

To be honest IŽm a typical builder and not so much driver but of course I do some easy driving with whatever I feel like driving. IŽm about to bling up my Lifty , parts are pouring in from all over.Today I got ally bell housings from Dinball ,SWEEET ! Also have chromed RC-Channel axles and a pile of Red ally parts. All I need is time to get going with it. Plan to buy the new Hilux when it becomes avaible but I will not use the MFU in that one, instead I will make it fun driving machine.

Hi Olle I fully understand you as I suffer the same disease, lot of problems.

I'm trying to explain to modelers that asking for a new hard plastic body is unrealistic, I guess. I'm in contact with people from the Japanese industry and I know that the investment big companies are doing is headed in other course. However to ask for an already done mould which only would need little changes is more realistic, in other way we will have to wait other 10 years or more to get other 3 speed truck. I used the superclod body, is nice but outdated, and need to be improved.

Could you give me the links to those alloy parts you got for the 350 I would like to take a look them.
The best my friend!!!!

I think you got a point there Mario. I dont know how all this copyright laws works but I realize that thereŽs sure a lot of steps for MrTamiya to pass before he can make a new design. On the other hand I feel GREAT joy in seeing all talented guys out there making custom cars out of nothing , which they maybe not would have done if there was a lot of different bodystyles to chose from. Am I making sence here ???
As I said before IŽm not interested in a modern style body , I would like to see some sort of utility truck f.ex fire truck , tow truck , military vehicle or adventure truck. If its Ford ,Chevy ,Dodge or what else I dont care.

The parts are from INETRC and RCmart ! And the axles of course from RC Channel

By the way : Today I got a new date for surgery , Nov 28 is the day. Two weeks from now.

Thanks Larrio, I feel welcome !! Olle

It sure does T . Also as in my case : I donŽt have anyone in my surroundings that understand my urge to give "all" my money to MrTamiya but on GREAT forums like this I dont have to lie about I taking trips to the post-office every other day  AND, yes itŽs SOOO fun to one minute talk to someone in the south america ,next minute sombody in Germany switching over to some Brit -tosser and so on. Crimping the globe so to say.
