My Military King Hauler would not be the same without the MFU in it. The MFU really adds something to the trucks.:Tamiya1:I just wish that they were a little less expensive!

While yes they are a bit pricy, they are imo a bargain for what you get. On my Mountaineer, I rigged light, turn signals and brake lights and spent a lot of time fabing everything up. If I had to do it over I would use an MFU. and if you factor in the fact that you get an esc, the cost doesn't seem so bad.

I just ordered my first semi, the Globe Liner. I won't have a trailer until Christmas. I am planning on just getting the light kit for both the tractor and trailer. I'll be lucky if I can afford that :D
Down the road, I'd like to build a Knight hauler w/MFU and Box Trailer. I really wanted the Globe Liner and I don't feel like shoe horning it in that thing.
My Globe Liner kit is supposed to arrive tomorrow :Tamiya1:

I have the MFU in my Knight Hauler, it really makes the truck come to life. I was amazed at the positive comments I received on it at Indy. I started to use the old style sound system in my current King Hauler/Dump truck conversion project. I'm saving for another MFU now, there's just no comparison.

I've heard the old style sound kit isn't very good. That's why I'm just getting the lights. I will get the MFU for the next one though.

I am currently building a Knight Hauler Metallic Special and will install the MFU during the build process.
I am curious as to how representative the results from this poll are since most of us here are real fans. I believe there are quite a lot of semis out there that do not have the MFU.

You would be amazed by the number of trucks at the Indy RC truck and Construction show that do not have the MFU in them. Granted alot of the trucks are Wedico but lots of Tamiya semis are showing uo now that the guys learn about the price difference between the 2 brands! Plus some of the guys do not like the MFU because of its size.
