I think that this forums should be named 3speed trucks. Unfortunately I can't see new messages of value since months ago, just trucks, trucks and more trucks.
My main interest is focused in pickups, Ford, Hilux Tundra, no news can't be seen here. A pity really.

This is true and unfortunate. I have been thinking about this for a bit now and I think I know why.

This is a very specialized site for Tamiya 3 Speed vehicles only. The crawler/scale rig crazy going on right now has a ton of various suppliers, i.e. Tamiya, Axial, HPI, etc. I have a couple scale rigs myself, but neither of them have 3 speeds in them, so I can't post them here. Most scale rigs do not have 3 speeds in them. And those that do purchase the Hi-Lift kits either don't know about this site or just don't post them here because they post them else where. Either way, the number of Hi-Lift kits out there is small in compairison to the total number of scale rigs out there.

Now with trucks/semi's, all there is is Tamiya. Sure there is other stuff out there, but Tamiya has semi's nailed. And 100% of them are 3 speeds. So, where only a fraction of scale rigs are Tamiya 3 speed Hi-lifts...all semi's are 3 speeds. With a few exceptions here and there.

I Think you are right, and please don't misunderstanding me, I enjoyed very much this site when the first high-lift appeared.
I like crawler but nowadays looks like the holly grail of RC modelling, I'm sure that money is behind this fever :Good Point:, as always happens.... and will be.
