Transmission servo throw?

I finally got a 4 channel contoller for my Hilux the other day. Now my problem seems to be the shift sevo horn isnt ling enough to get me into first gear. Third and second work just fine but no amount of adjustment seems to help. Im using the stock servo horn from the Tamiya kit. Any advice is appriciated, thanks!

Have you adjusted the trims?

I would pull the horn, turn on the truck and make sure the trims are center, thereby centering the shift servo. Put the horn back on and see if that worked.

End point adjustment on your radio may help after the centering.Seems i had to have more for 1st then i did for 3rd.
