Gettin ready to build up my Hilux, have all original parts for it ie: leafsprings, steering etc, but im not sure weather to go with a 4 link and coil springs, or use the leafspring suspension. I want to crawl with it, but also want to make it look scale looking. I know that the leaf springs give it the best scale look, but how is articulation compared to a 4 link??? any ideas/suggestions, or pics of either/or would be appreciated.
thanks

I 4-linked mine, and it does really have way better articulation. I should not care about the leafs, it is such an improvement.

you can do a ''chino'' mod to the leafs, or even buggy leaf the truck
contact 1badjeepbruiser on this board, he can show you pics of each

leave the leafs... maybe put in jugg leafs with a leaf removed, and chino mod them
much better looking that 4 link and nearly as flexible

if you dont care about stock then go 4-link. rc4wd has all the cool stuff, and some looks stock.:yourock:
