radio issue

I have a Hitec Lazer 6 radio for my high lift, I dont want to use the stick controller for shifting. I read somewhere but I dont remember where that you take a three position toggle switch and use another channel for the sifting . does anybody have any info or insight in this matter. thank you.

thankx a bunch i just bought a tq3 on ebay for 38 bucks. I tried to do it with a hitec lazer 6 and it doesn't work right.
