Hi guys, Probably the newest member here ..... I have snooped around a bit, signed up, and look forward to share thoughts and ideas with y'all.
I am planning to restore a bruiser shell, and even though I have seen hundreds of fantastic and creative Bruisers, I still want to restore mine to the look in the Tamiya catalog. I was wondering if anyone could give me the color code ( X-??) that was used for the blue body color I see in the original catalogs ?
I am also playing with thought of laying a light pearlized silver color as a base color, and if I could find it, a coat of a transparent blue in same color and tone as the original blue, just to give the color depth and a metallic look without straying too far away from the original color - any ideas of what paints I should use for this approach ?
Ohh.... by the way, I intend to use an Airbrush if possible.
Thanks
Naz
